Disciple Week 1 English

Jun 7, 2026    Pastor Alan

This message teaches that discipleship is not simply something believers attend, but a life they enter by following Jesus. Drawing from Matthew 4:18–22, it shows that Jesus did not call His first disciples into a class, program, or religious routine, but into a life of surrender, allegiance, and obedience to Him. Through the call, “Follow me,” the message reminds believers that true discipleship begins with the gracious call of Christ, requires a reordered life around His lordship, and leads to transformation and mission. Ultimately, this message calls the church to move beyond attendance, information, and spiritual consumerism into a deeper response to Jesus. Discipleship is not about being near Christian things; it is about following Christ with your whole life. You do not sign up for discipleship. You step into it.
